The Workshops Center plays a significant role in expanding circles of exposure to issues related to the world of sensory disabilities. The center holds a large number of interactive workshops, some of which are conducted in sign language and guided by deaf and hard of hearing instructors, and some of which are conducted in complete darkness and guided by blind and visually impaired instructors, based on the belief that direct and unmediated contact is the key to shaping thinking and creating real social change.
We recognize the great importance of delivering content in elementary and high schools to students and educational teams. Our aim is to develop and empower meaningful dialogue among different communities, bridging cultural and social gaps. We believe in recognizing and accepting others for their strengths, not their weaknesses. We strive to do this in an experiential and educational manner.
The performances and workshops of the educational program can be held at the Na Laga’at Center in Jaffa Port, or by invitation to you – to schools and educational institutions.
