Na Laga’at is a nonprofit cultural and art center, the only one of its kind in the world, which serves as a meeting place between the general public and deaf, blind and deaf-blind people. The Center that allows an evenhanded dialog that promotes the needs and aspirations of every individual, out of the belief that all human-beings are equal and that every person has the right to realize his or her full potential.
Over the past few years the Na Laga’at Center has positioned itself as an Israeli cultural anchor and as one of the most innovative theaters in the world. The theater’s diverse artistic and educational repertoire has proved time and again that the traditional boundaries of the stage are irrelevant, and since Na Laga’at is a groundbreaking stage, every person has the right to get on it and showcase his or her talents.
The Center is currently putting together a Friends of the Na Laga’at Center group, with the aim of increasing its social and artistic spheres of influence. This stems from the desire to create a high-quality and intimate, art and culture-loving community that believes in the power art and culture have to create social change.
