Israeli Sign Language Course for Beginners

We invite you to learn the basics of Israeli Sign Language in a professional and experiential course taught by deaf sign language speakers with extensive teaching experience.

As with any language that serves as a window into a culture and community, sign language is a gateway to the fascinating culture of deaf people. The course is suitable for people with no prior knowledge of sign language who are interested in acquiring a foundation in the language and experiencing communication in sign language.

In the course, you will learn: Greetings, Spelling, Handshapes, Pronouns and possession, Positive and negative verbs, Family, Characters, Colors, Emotions, Hobbies, Numbers, Times and more!

In addition to learning the basics of sign language, the course will include watching a performance from the repertoire of the Na Laga’at Theater.
