Theatre Without Borders

Project Background & Objectives

The project aimed to make theatre accessible to blind and deaf individuals, providing them with opportunities to engage in the artistic field, develop professional skills, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the community. Na Laga’at contributed extensive expertise in teaching and training individuals with sensory disabilities and provided a practical learning environment for theatre education and methodologies developed in Israel.

Project Implementation

Three learning and training sessions were conducted—one in Łódź, Poland, and two at the Na Laga’at Center in Israel.
Four project management meetings took place in Sweden, Greece, and Germany, along with two online meetings.
Two educational documentary films and a methodological guide for working with blind and deaf individuals in theatre were produced.
