Shepherds – a dance performance introducing dancers with visual impairment and blindness

A colorful clan that allows its individuals to shine, while they are busy building and dismantling pictures of their lives. A group’s physical journey which examines the relationship between supporters and supported and asks how else it is possible to see.

The collective and the individual body devotes itself to testing its limits, discovers the invisible and brings darkness to light. The piece was created as part of the ‘Mutual Gaze’ project, a creative group for dancers with and without visual impairment and blindness of Kelim Choreography Center in Bat Yam, and in collaboration with Marshal – a multi-service center for the blind in Tel Aviv-Yafo.

The show will be performed for the first time at the festival and on Thursday, December 8 it will also be performed at Kelim Choreography Center – Bat Yam.
