International Sign Language Day

International Sign Language Day is celebrated every year on September 23rd, with the aim of recognizing the cohesive communities who use it and its own unique cultures around the world.

We believe that the diversity of our society is an immense source of strength, and the more we get to know all parts of society - the more we can work together for a better future for all of us.

This year, the Na Laga'at Center will celebrate Israeli Sign Language in a variety of events: Theater plays in sign language for children and adults, a multidisciplinary artists' fair - and a stage hosting deaf performers that bring the world of sign language to a wider audience.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand and break through the limitations of common perception, to get to know talented artists working in many fields - and to enjoy every moment.
